For the launch of the new Mirror Card by American Express, the client asked us to develop a “reveal” concept that played with the idea of mirrors — one of the most challenging elements to work with in 3D, since mirrors are only interesting when they have something compelling to reflect. While co-directing with Chris Angelkov, we decided to explore the concept of the current card being reflected by the new one, so that throughout the film, what you see is only a reflection—until the very end. This approach allowed us to use the mirror concept in a clever way, turning it into the key device for unveiling such a special card. This project was done while working as a Freelance Creative Lead at Found.
